70014 was outside this afternoon together with two former Gatwick Express driving cars.
56009, 92045, 92046 and Eurostar 3308 were in their usual positions behind the portakabins.
Wellies still required!

Two former Gatwick Express end cars ( anyone with a canoe got the identities?) and industrial 0-4-0DH "George Toms".

Recent arrival, General Electric Class 70,  70014 was just visible this afternoon, peeping out from behind an unidentified Anglia 170/2. In the same part of the works were two former Gatwick Express cars.

Not much about today at Brush - but King on the GC

73209 "Alison" and an unidentfied 57/3 ( possibly 306) plus "Sprite" and "George Toms" could be seen from the layby.

Off topic but worth a detour: GWR 6023 "King Edward II" in British Railways blue livery was lurking next to the signalbox at Loughbrough GC.

After arriving yesterday, First Great Western blue liveried 57603 was visible this afternoon alongside Network Rail's 57312.

The noses of 92045 and 92046 could be seen next to 56009 behind the Portakabin block.

The field is still too wet so from the layby this afternoon:

66534 OOCL Express, new arrival 66532 P&O Nedlloyd Atlas, an unidentifiable Network Rail 57/3 (believed to be 57305), Sprite and a Gatwick Express Class 460's DMFLO without branding. - Is this the first time a 460 has visited the Brush?

Field now so wet the water is across the road!

Only "Sprite" HC D1341/1966, visible from the layby but a move further round towards the viaduct found a few bits hiding behind the portakabin block.

From right to left: 73209, the cab ends of 2 class 92s ( presumed to be long term residents 92045 and 92046), 56009 and, on the back of a trailer and under tarpaulins, the unmistakable outline of a Eurostar power car (3308).

Visible today were a complete First Hull Trains Class 180 unit plus a  DVT in Chiltern livery and one unpainted DVT.

Earlier, 92032, with its "IMechE Railway Division" nameplates, had departed behind 66720.
Today's new arrival, visible on the far right, was Greater Anglia's three car Class 170/2, 170203 in "1" livery.
66516 was outside the far left shed and DMSL 59910, from First Hull Trains' 180110, was on its own near "Sprite".

A busy morning at the Brush

09:45    70019  was waiting at the gates to the Midland Mainline.

10:15    66702 "Blue Lightning" arrives on the Down Slow with 92032 crosses over and goes back into the Up Fast station platform.

10:28   66702+92032 go back north on the fast to eventually cross to the Up Slow. At the same time, 70019 was walked back into the Brush.

10:38   66702+92032 arrive on the Up Slow past the point that gains access to the Brush.

10:47   The pair enter the Brush.

11:15   Network Rail liveried 57310 moves towards the exit.

11:25  Visible across the field were 66702 depositing 92032, 70019 presumably waiting to leave, part of a Grand Central Class180 and Greater Anglia's 170270 still in "1" livery.

A Eurotunnel locomotive without numbers was being shunted by 0-4-0DH "Sprite" ( Hudswell Clarke D1341).
